Indicators of Success

MTCHS is a free special purpose public charter high school. As a special purpose school, MTCHS may not be a good fit for all students. Over the years, certain indicators of success have emerged among those students graduating from MTCHS. Although MTCHS does not require minimum qualifications for the lottery, the bulleted items below should be considered carefully by the student and parents/guardians before completing the application as they are very strong indicators of success:
  • Strong interest in learning technical, professional, and academic skills that lead to careers and/or postsecondary training in MTCHS career areas
  • Successful completion of Math 8 or higher level of math by the end of 8th grade
